Living Room Make Over On World's Smallest Budget - part 1

Our living room is in massive need of an update.  Unfortunately, I have 3 things going for me that definitely are not in my favor.

1. I have million dollar taste and honestly the world's smallest budget.  Really.  The smallest.

2. Everything that I like Andy does not.  He would much rather have a lazy boy in the corner with a tv stand.  I know, cute right?

3. I love him, but there is a child in my home.  Which means, for all you people who do not have kids, there are no nice things allowed to be in the house.  Thought that we would be ok in splurging on a nice master bedroom set.  Nope.  It got scratches from an awesome metal R2D2 lunch box that we use to hold DS games. I just got an electric fireplace media center the week before Christmas.  It lasted 2 weeks before the wii remote got accidentally thrown during a game of kung fu panda.  Big chip taken out.  Awesome.  Did I mention that I'm still making payments on it?

In my dreams this would be my living room.

But remember problems 1, 2 and 3?  Yes. Check, check and check.
But I do have my colors picked out!
Navy, white and grey.
And trying to get it done without looking all nautical.
So stick with me while I transfer this

into something awesome.  Using the world's smallest budget.

(And don't judge me...yes there is a Christmas tree over there.  And bags/a tote of Christmas decorations that STILL are waiting to be put away!)

Your dream room IS dreamy! Love the classic white and navy blue, but your REAL home is wonderful, as well!
